Poem from:
Fifty Years: Poems 1957-2007 by Knute Skinner

A View from Lahinch
Skinner, Knute
The Cliffs of Moher
can be viewed
three miles from here,
of rising rock.
The Atlantic sent them
shock on shock
till from the crags
Hags Head was hewed.
I move my hand
to wind the clock,
which, like my life,
must be renewed.
Recorded at Barr Trá, Lahinch, County Clare, Ireland
